We are in Mid Michigan, any out of state or in-state shipping is available.

What Does Shipping Costs Depend On?

Shipping costs are based on 2 things. One, your zip code. Two,

the weight of the birds. We also have to charge for the

container/special shipping box your birds will be delivered in.

The small container fits about 2 bantams or 4 chicks or 1

standard(fully grown) Chicken. The small container is $25. We

also have a large container. It holds up to at least 5 bantams or

12 chicks or 3 standard(full grown) chickens. This one costs $35.

These boxes have been approved my the US Mail. These boxes

have ventilation holes, and LIVE BIRDS posted all over it, to

keep the birds calm and safe. If you have any questions feel free

to email me.

How Shipping Poultry Works

When we receive your Postal Money Order payment we can now

ship the birds. The days we can set them off are Mondays and

Tuesdays. We take them to our PO before noon, noon is the

deadline for live shipments, they take them in and take them

into the back where they are boarded on a truck to be taken to

the air port(if you are out of state). When they reach the air

port they get on the necessary plane and are on there way.

When they reach your post office, you will receive a call to come

pick up your birds. Due to some shipping's taking up to 2 - 3

days, we send half an apple for instant energy and some

moisture for the birds.

What Do I Do When I Receive My Birds?

Your bird(s) have been on at least one plane(if out of state), and

have been deprived of proper water for at least 1 day. I

recommend giving them some electrolyte water to get them

back on there feet. If they do not eat or drink, try dipping their

beak into the water, they may not be used to the type of

water-er you have. When you open the box please make sure

you talk to the birds so they don't get scared and fly or become

frightened. All of our birds are hand raised and do like to be held

and get attention. Please make sure the first thing you do after

opening the box is put them in a cage where they can be

monitored for a while and give them water, right away. Make

sure everyone gets to drink. After they drink then it is ok to

give them food.
